A Central Pennsylvania Club for Pyros!
Welcome to the website
of the Lower Penns Valley Bonfire Society. Our organization
formed out of a need - a need to burn, burn, BURN! Parties are scheduled
year-around. We get together to eat, drink, play musical instruments, and
generally enjoy visiting. The campfire is typically the center of
activity at these social events, and no expense is spared to make sure that the
fire is just right.
The geographic area of
"Lower Penns Valley" is loosely comprised of Millheim
Borough, Penn
Township and Haines Township - the exact center of Pennsylvania. It is the garden spot of the world, with lush mountains, fertile
valleys and the exceptional waters of Pine, Penns and Elk creeks.
You are welcome to attend any of our burns. Usually these gatherings are potluck, so please bring a covered dish or something else. Host contact information is provided on the events page.
