Saturday evening, Oct. 30th

Dan Brigham homestead (Elk Creek Fish Hatchery)

live music, food, bonfire!

Before winter rushes in…

join us for a Fall gathering

Sat. October 23,

3:00 till the embers fade…

Walt Whitmer homestead / One World Environmental Center

The season has almost slipped by us… please join us for an afternoon and evening of hiking, cider pressing, picking, grinning, sipping, a bonfire and just hanging out! Bring an instrument, your hiking shoes, a little food to share, and a jug to take home some cider. We’ll have something tasty on tap, spend the afternoon petting horse noses, hiking, picking and whatnot and then have a potluck sometime around 6:30 or so. Hope you can join us!

 Cheers,

Walt, Lisa, Jos and Lucy

(and Kat and Bill and Bryan)

How to find us….

From State College

Take 45 East. From the light in Old Fort go straight 6.3 miles on Route 45 till you see Kline Road on the right  (just after Cooke Tavern B&B)  Take that right and follow Kline Road for 1.1 miles until it comes to a T, and take a left (this is Penns Creek Road towards Coburn). Follow this for 2.6 miles till Penns Creek Rd takes a 90 degree hard left - take right onto Lingle Valley Road (it is marked). As you make the right you'll see a sign for One World Environmental Center. At 0.9 miles Lingle Valley bears right and take Kettle Run Lane to your left.  Kat and Bill and Bryan’s is on the right and ours is just beyond it.

From points east of Millhiem:

From the light in Millhiem go 1.5 miles to Paradise Road on left.  Take it and follow until it comes to stop sign at Penns Creek Road. Take right, wind around Maybe 2 or 3 miles  (I haven't measured it) till you cross the creek and come to a stop sign that is a "stop except for right turn"  - go straight.  You are now on Lingle Valley Road.  From that stop sign go 0.9 miles till you see the Kettle Run Lane that goes straight (but is a left turn) as Lingle Valley Road bears right. Kat and Bill and Bryan’s is on the right and ours is just beyond it
